In this episode, which is part one of a two part series, we talk with Dr. Nicole Sanderlin and Dr. David Knight about the award-winning Rising Sophomore Abroad Program in the College of Engineering. Today we will hear about how this successful global program for engineering students began.The Virginia Tech Rising Sophomore Abroad Program, or RSAP as it’s called, combines a Spring course with a 2-week international module abroad that immediately follows the end of the Spring Semester. RSAP gives students a taste of an international experience and increases their comfort level with global travel.
