About

The Academy for Global Engineering

We are a community of research and practice that aims to improve experiential learning on a global scale. The Academy began organizing in November 2019. Our membership represents faculty and graduate students who are interested in international engineering education. Together, we aim:

to share assessment and best practices in globl engineering education more broadly
to connect graduate students who have an interest in assessment and education research with faculty across departments who are seeking expertise in this area
to serve as a point of contact for new program evaluation and assessment for engineering programs beyond Virginia Tech
to incubate applications for external grants that support build programs to increase access to international engineering education
to share resources including publications on global engineering education produced by this community
