In this episode, we talk with Dr. Yasser Hanafy, the Vice President for Information Technology at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt and an adjunct professor at Virginia Tech in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Hanafy talks about his journey of collaboration with VT-MENA (Virgina Tech - Middle East and North Africa Graduate Program) starting in 2005 to extending the program to include 17 public universities in Egypt through the Ministry of Higher Education today. More than 70 students have received degrees through this program.
