My professional experience in industry and graduate studies occurred in the context of global, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, and inter-disciplinary environments, and I firmly believe that it is essential to prepare undergraduate engineers to contribute meaningfully and be successful in these environments. I am actively participating in scholarship as well as research-to-practice endeavors that focus on facilitating opportunities for students to develop cultural competence and a global mindset alongside developing engineering discipline-specific skill sets.
